Hi all,
I am really excited to see what comes out of this 2.5 kickoff workshop
that is happening in San Jose in a week and a half. The conference
website is here:
http://www.usenix.org/events/kernelsummit/
I know this two-day event is going to the broadcast on the web and
I am planning on listening in. I've chatted with Ted Ts'o, who is
selecting participants (this is a "by invitation only" event).
Ted mentioned that some of you have been invited and I am wondering
whether some pre-event discussion would be valuable. Specifically,
are there USB-related or hotplug-related projects the development
community at large would like to make sure get explored at the 2.5
workshop?
For example:
USB 2.0 support
USB code sharing in the HCDs
Hotplug support for all pertinent drivers
(this might include exploring the plans
of all the bus development groups)
PCMCIA support migration into the kernel
Cheers,
Miles
