The *.o and *~ ignore patterns are supposed to be implicit in CVS,
but it doesn't hurt anything so I added them.
+make all CFLAGS="%optflags"
This seems pretty harmless as well, though I didn't realize that
RPM creates an %optflags macro. As long as we're certain that it
is just C optimization flags, I see no problem.
