It's an elegant option, given the values are almost uniformly tightly packed. It also saves a fair bit of space - around 2.5Kb. For my taste, I do like being able to visually verify the correctness of any given member. That way whenever I look at it, I don't have to blindly trust that the list was previously set up correctly, or count the lines to check if a given value is correct. Not a big deal, but it does introduce some friction. It's functionally identical to your approach, so it saves the same amount of space, and the explicit NULLs are unnecessary so it's more straightforward to transform from the Windows source in case of any gaps that are harder to notice later on in the list.
