Subject: [PATCH v2 07/13] eeprom: at24: support reading of the serial number
Date: Thu, 24 Mar 2016 17:19:37 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1458836383-6668-8-git-send-email-bgolaszewski@baylibre.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1458836383-6668-1-git-send-email-bgolaszewski@baylibre.com>

The at24cs series EEPROM chips have an additional read-only memory area
containing a factory pre-programmed serial number. In order to access
it, one has to perform a dummy write before reading the serial number
bytes.

Add a function that allows to access the serial number.
