I'm not sure how you came to the i2c list, but both http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/FeedbackAndSupport and the MAINTAINERS file in the kernel source tree point lm-sensors and hardware monitoring chip users to the lm-sensors list instead: http://lists.lm-sensors.org/mailman/listinfo/lm-sensors The i2c list is for, well, i2c problems and development.
