Subject: [PATCH 1/4] i2c-dev: Use kmalloc_array() in i2cdev_ioctl_rdwr()
Date: Fri, 23 Sep 2016 21:44:32 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <be56c41b-0b29-de40-0bce-700de64b7d92@users.sourceforge.net> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <cedc3865-a884-a10e-6c93-0163fd36af92@users.sourceforge.net>

* A multiplication for the size determination of a memory allocation
  indicated that an array data structure should be processed.
  Thus use the corresponding function "kmalloc_array".

  This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

* Replace the specification of a data type by a pointer dereference
  to make the corresponding size determination a bit safer according to
  the Linux coding style convention.
