Subject: [PATCH 5/8] i2c: i801: add helper i801_set_hstadd()
Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2022 18:57:21 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <e07379b5-609c-fd2b-3e66-f79c984c3a55@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <4125f9ce-ce5f-fbcf-7d6f-9bc586ac43e0@gmail.com>
Factor out setting SMBHSTADD to a helper. The current code makes the
assumption that constant I2C_SMBUS_READ has bit 0 set, that's not ideal.
Therefore let the new helper explicitly check for I2C_SMBUS_READ.
