Subject: [patch] add ia64 optimized csum_ipv6_magic
Date: Fri, 10 Nov 2006 21:17:50 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <000001c7050d$ad5bb250$ff0da8c0@amr.corp.intel.com> (raw)
Rev 2 of the implementation. Previous patch implements "len" argument
as __u16 that was copied from the generic version. However, the argument
is pending to be changed into __u32. Update the asm code to be consistent.
Tony, please apply this one instead of previous patch.
[patch] implement csum_ipv6_magic for ia64. The asm version is 4.4 times
faster than the generic C version and 10X smaller in code size.
