Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2006 14:47:17 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200604271647.17927.adrian@suse.de> (raw)

The openSUSE project and SGI do provide a SUSE Linux Factory tree for
IPF / Itanium hardware architecture.

The Factory distribution is an always up to date version of the SUSE Linux
development distribution, which is used as base for SUSE Linux Enterprise
products.

SGI is kindly offering this distribution at:

 ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/opensuse/download/inst-source/

SGI is also offering a drpmsync service, which enables everyone to sync the
tree via this command:

 drpmsync oss.sgi.com:8888/Factory-IA64 <dir>

Documentation and installation help is available in the openSUSE wiki:

 http://en.opensuse.org/IA64_Installation_Issues

More informations about the openSUSE project or the Factory distribution can
get found here:
