Subject: [Linux-ia64] man page updates?
Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2001 02:19:03 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ia64-105590693005304@msgid-missing> (raw)
Is anyone interested in coordinating a project to update the man pages
(especially section 2) for IA-64 Linux? I think the current state of
affairs for those man pages is quite poor. Several IA-64 syscalls are
completely undocumented (e.g., clone2) or, not current with kernel
2.4, or cover the x86 only.
The man-page maintainer (Andries Brouwer) says he'd welcome such
updates and he would take care of merging them and feeding them to the
distributors, but he doesn't have the time to drive such a project.
Any takers?
