Subject: [Linux-ia64] Linux 2.4.3 screen hangs on output
Date: Thu, 17 May 2001 19:32:35 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ia64-105590693005608@msgid-missing> (raw)
With Redhat Linux2.4.3 for ia64, when you rlogin or telnet and then do
cat, ls, or other programs that print more than one line, the screen hangs.
The system is not dead, but you can't kill that program from the keyboard
and you can't get back to your login session. Is this a familiar problem?
Is there a configuration file that's wrong, a kernel bug, or what?
Thanks,
David Robboy
