I want to add the new Itanium VTune patch to the kernel. I am currently trying to compile Linux kernel 2.4.4 with the Itanium 2.4.4 patch. the compile is breaking in the middle of the "make" process. on various things depending on what I choose in the "make configure" Else which options must I choose to get a successful booting Itanium Kernel on a LION system DIG-compliant ? or generic ? etc...
