Subject: [Linux-ia64] ia64 linux kernel book now searchable
Date: Fri, 22 Nov 2002 06:24:23 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ia64-105590709805472@msgid-missing> (raw)
The ia64 linux kernel book website now provides a simple engine to
search the book for specific words or phrases. You can find it at:
http://www.lia64.org/book/search.php3
The search results do include brief quotations for the hits (one
quotation per page), but that's just intended to make it convenient to
judge whether the hit is relevant---you'll still need the book to take
full advantage of the results.
I plan to collect the search queries so that they can be used to
improve the quality of the printed index in future editions.
Enjoy,
