Using -rc2-mm1+libata fixes from
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&m=115415195508235&w=2
(it was the same without the patch)
I get this:

Uh ? I have always burn at x40 with IDE. Capabilities for the burner say:

Chip configuration reports OK

Your tree appears to have the old speed setting code in it not the new
speed setting code. As a result of this it tries to set both to MWDMA0
which isn't available on the ICH chips and so falls back to PIO3.
