I have several ICH4 systems. On one with an Intel motherboard running Mandriva
Cooker, 2.6.29.1 works fine with libata drivers. A Dell GX260, running openSUSE
Factory with a 2.6.29-6 kernel, works fine with legacy IDE drivers. I'm using
only ext2 & ext3 partitions.
