Hi,
Here is a bug report:
when I do this:
cat /proc/ide/hdb/identify
The command stop here, and the ide bus become freezed.
After about one minute, I have "hdb lost interrupt" (but the IDE bus is
always unavailable)
It seem that if I unload "ide_cd", "sr_mod" and "cdrom" modules (don't
tried each separatly, but I can if needed), the command work.
kernel is:
2.6.5-rc2
dmesg after booting attached.
If you need more info or testings, just let me know.
