Here's the original again in plain text: --------------------------------- Hello there, I'm trying to get the VIA SATA driver (for VT8251, driver version is 1.1) working under Fedora Core 5, but compiling the Linux drivers distributed by Asus doesn't work (duh... there were created for FC4). Is there any chance that these driver(s) will get updated for FC 5 or 6? Your help would be highly appreciated :D Not sure whether FC 6 has better support for SATA though, could be that an OS upgrade would "solve" the issue... Thanks for any reply :) Paul. ---------------------------------
