Subject: [PATCH] ide: Use kmalloc_array() in hwif_init()
Date: Sat, 24 Sep 2016 09:49:07 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <c28ba397-0b6c-fe47-24d8-002545b4844f@users.sourceforge.net> (raw)

From: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net>
Date: Sat, 24 Sep 2016 09:39:03 +0200

* A multiplication for the size determination of a memory allocation
indicated that an array data structure should be processed.
Thus use the corresponding function "kmalloc_array".

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

* Replace the specification of a data structure by a pointer dereference
to make the corresponding size determination a bit safer according to
  the Linux coding style convention.
