Hi Jean-Baptiste,

Any plan to use this outside of IMU drivers?  If not I'd be tempted
to keep it more local.

drivers/iio/imu/inv_common/ or similar and avoid the global
header by using a "../inv_common/" include path.

Changes themselves look fine to me.
