From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Benjamin Tissoires Subject: [PATCH v2 4/6] HID: uclogic: apply quirk NO_EMPTY_INPUT Date: Thu, 26 Feb 2015 13:57:27 -0500 Message-ID: <1424977049-18648-5-git-send-email-benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com> References: <1424977049-18648-1-git-send-email-benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com> Return-path: In-Reply-To: <1424977049-18648-1-git-send-email-benjamin.tissoires@redhat.com> Sender: linux-kernel-owner@vger.kernel.org To: Nikolai Kondrashov , Jiri Kosina Cc: linux-input@vger.kernel.org, linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org, DIGImend-devel List-Id: linux-input@vger.kernel.org NO_EMPTY_INPUT is useful when MULTI_INPUT is set. It prevents to create empty input nodes that user space does not know what to do with. It does not seem to be required at the moment, this is just a preventive patch. This check is only made during the plug of the device, so it does not hurt to have it.
