Hi,
I just got a Lenovo T470 laptop and booted up 4.12 on it. The following
message appeared in dmesg:
psmouse serio1: synaptics: Your touchpad (PNP: LEN006e PNP0f13) says it
can support a different bus. If i2c-hid and hid-rmi are not used, you
might want to try setting psmouse.synaptics_intertouch to 1 and report
this to linux-input@vger.kernel.org.
So I'm reporting this to linux-input, as requested. :) I'll attach
/var/log/kern.log -- the boot at 17:00 is with no options, the boot at
17:02 has psmouse.synaptics_intertouch=1.
HTH,
