Some platforms may have support for offloading USB audio devices to a
dedicated audio DSP.  Introduce a set of APIs that allow for management of
USB sound card and PCM devices enumerated by the USB SND class driver.
This allows for the ASoC components to be aware of what USB devices are
available for offloading.

Q6DSP supports handling of USB playback audio data if USB audio offloading
is enabled.  Add a new definition for the USB_RX AFE port, which is
referenced when the AFE port is started.

As part of xHCI bus suspend, the xHCI is halted.  However, if there are
pending events in the secondary event ring, it is observed that the xHCI
controller stops responding to further commands upon host or device
initiated bus resume.  Iterate through all pending events and update the
dequeue pointer to the beginning of the event ring.

Expose API for creation of a jack control for notifying of available
devices that are plugged in/discovered, and that support offloading.  This
allows for control names to be standardized across implementations of USB
audio offloading.

Allow for different platforms to be notified on USB SND connect/disconnect
sequences.  This allows for platform USB SND modules to properly initialize
and populate internal structures with references to the USB SND chip
device.

Within the UAC descriptor, there is information describing the size of a
sample (bSubframeSize/bSubslotSize) and the number of relevant bits
(bBitResolution).  Currently, fmt_bits carries only the bit resolution,
however, some offloading entities may also require the overall size of the
sample.  Save this information in a separate parameter, as depending on the
UAC format type, the sample size can not easily be decoded from other
existing parameters.

With USB audio offloading, an audio session is started from the ASoC
platform sound card and PCM devices.  Likewise, the USB SND path is still
readily available for use, in case the non-offload path is desired.  In
order to prevent the two entities from attempting to use the USB bus,
introduce a flag that determines when either paths are in use.

If a PCM device is already in use, the check will return an error to
userspace notifying that the stream is currently busy.  This ensures that
only one path is using the USB substream.

Depending on the interrupter use case, the OS may only be used to handle
the interrupter event ring clean up.  In these scenarios, event TRBs don't
need to be handled by the OS, so introduce an xhci interrupter flag to tag
if the events from an interrupter needs to be handled or not.

The headphone jack framework has a well defined infrastructure for
notifying userspace entities through input devices.  Expose a jack device
that carries information about if an offload capable device is connected.
Applications can further identify specific offloading information through
other SND kcontrols.

Introduce support for the Hynitron CST816X touchscreen controller
used for 240×240 1.28-inch Round LCD Display Module manufactured
by Waveshare Electronics. The driver is designed based on an Arduino
implementation marked as under MIT License. This driver is written
for a particular round display based on the CST816S controller, which
is not compatiable with existing driver for Hynitron controllers.

disable_irq() after request_irq() still has a time gap in which
interrupts can come. request_irq() with IRQF_NO_AUTOEN flag will
disable IRQ auto-enable when request IRQ.

Thanks. I was asking whether I should rush it in still for 6.11, or 
whether waiting for 6.12 merge window is sufficient.

So I will send it to Linus for 6.12, but I still think tagging for stable 
should probably be done.

No, I have not observed this issue in the wild, that is why I di dnot
tag it explicitly for stable. It came about when I was reviewing Goodix
HID SPI driver, noticed that it was using a shared buffer, asked to and
locking, and realized that I2C HID needed the same. And just got around
to sending out the fix...

As far as I can see USB HID driver does not need it - it does not share
URBs but rather allocates new one for each request (via
usb_control_msg()).

Hello! I've encountered a bug (at least I believe it is), that my
touchpad on Thinkpad T14s gen 2 AMD is not reporting pressure nor size
of the touch under linux. In the most recent kernel, 6.10.9 it at
least has ABS_MT_TOOL_TYPE. I thought it has something to do with
libinput, but the developer told me
(https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/-/issues/1035) that
it's a kernel issue and redirected me here. If there is anything I can
do to help investigate this issue, please let me know. Thanks in
advance!

I've merged the series into the for-next branch of the arm-soc
tree now. The timing isn't great as I was still waiting for
that final Ack, but it seem better to have it done than to keep
respinning the series.

I won't send it with the initial pull requests this week
but hope to send this one once I get beck from LPC, provided
there are no surprises that require a rebase.
