Subject: [PATCH v3 3/3] selftests/fuse: add test for FUSE_OPEN_ATOMIC
Date: Mon, 26 Oct 2026 19:07:47 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261026190747.2373775-4-jamz@amazon.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261026190747.2373775-1-jamz@amazon.com>

Check the requests sent when opening and creating new, existing, missing
and expired names, against a raw /dev/fuse server with and without
FUSE_OPEN_ATOMIC, that opening an existing read-only file is still
permission checked, that an O_TMPFILE file has no name in its
directory, and that a fuse_open_out without backing_id_64 is accepted.
Also check that a name longer than name_max fails, that a reopen
through /proc/self/fd opens by nodeid, and that an expired name sees a
directory replacing it and permissions the server revoked.
