New to this list, running SuSE 7.3 with 2.4 Kernel = and a=20 simple LVM-setup.

vgscan seems to be destoying the LVM-conf on bootup. = While=20 this is annoying, could I simply disable

vgscan ? Would running vgchange -a y not be = sufficient ?=20

Anybody had a problem like this ?

In case your disk configuration doesn't change (like moving a LVM used disk to another adapter and the like) you don't need to run it.
