Hi Heinz,

there has been lots of discussion about a 0.8.1 release lately,
because there are too much patches for 0.8 out.

If no one else is interested I would like to take the job and try
to get a 0.8.1 out. This should consist of a fixed tools tarball
and a patch for Linux 2.2. All this is floating around on this
list and has been collected in different rpms, mostly due to the
work of Andreas Dilger.

I would test all this (escpecially for Linux 2.2/2.4 compatiblity)
and you would only have to make it official.

Comments?

	Christoph
