Hi!

I heard that pre releases of LVM starts with patching the kernel to keep up
with the user space tools. Ok, if it is true, then the patches available
in the next stable 2.4.x, or the migration is slower, and the changes 'arrive'
in a later version of the kernel?

Thanks, Laszlo

Well it's more a case of patching the kernel to fix bugs.

Alan Cox's kernel is pretty upto date. Linus' is not.
