Subject: [linux-lvm] Partitions?
Date: Mon Nov 12 22:11:01 2001 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20011112231248.A12489@sonsofthunder.yi.org> (raw)
I'm still considering my lvm startup problems. I have /var and /tmp set up
on a logical volume, but have not set up the root partition, so no initrd.
Could either of these partitions be causing the problems with the lvm
startup?
What about devfs? I already ran into the problem of having to give the
absolute path to the hard drives. Could it be getting confused in the
startup scripts?

Why are there flotation devices under plane seats instead of parachute?
