Subject: [linux-lvm] general question before i fry myself...
Date: Sun, 24 Dec 2000 15:45:36 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3A466E80.1D3DF239@wrkhors.com> (raw)
have worked w/ HP-UX LVM for 10 years. looking at the linux LVM
[pvl][gv]blah commands they seem nearly identical to HP-UX's (which
is a Good Thing compared to most of the others). e.g., the HOWTO
describes the exact commands for creating a pv, binding it into a
vg and creating/extending lv's.
q: are there any noticable gotcha's from following HP's
pv/vg/lv semantics?
