Seems like http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation and
http://www.kernel.org/doc/htmldocs are came from v3.0.0-rc7. It would be nice
to update them.

Agree, but there is only one component in 'documentation' product. Could you
please be less bureaucratic and tell the proper way to submit such kind of
problems. I added Rob Landley into CC (he's mentioned as maintainer of /doc/),
so I think he'll handle this.

Konstantin,

Sorry, my intention is not to be bureaucratic. But, I just don't have the time
to triage bugs in other areas, and in this case, I do not know where you should
submit the problem. Therefore, my response was to close the bug. I'll leave it
alone for now, and see if Rob can help. But, failing that, I'm likely to close
it again sometime in the future if it sits around for a long time assigned to
me.

The updated stuff has always been on http://landley.net/kdocs but the  
kernel.org guys went completely paranoid after the breakin and won't  
re-enable my account without a lot of bureaucratic hoops involving key  
signing.

Anyone who wants to do this has been free to do so for about 10 years  
now. Personally I'll never touch such a wiki: they're a decent way of  
piling together a random slush pile of unconnected tidbits, and a  
horrible way of organizing anything.

The mad hatter's advice ("start at the beginning, and when you get to  
the end stop") simply doesn't apply to wikis. Wikis provide no help  
keeping data complete, up to date, and nonduplicative. They're a nice  
communal scratch pad for brainstorming, but the best way to find  
anything in one is google.

No, but could I raise the possibility of getting a dedicated ssh key  
with a forced rsync receive command line for a specific directory, ala  
page 61 of the slides from this?

reimplement a really sad version of rsync has been a combination of
