My observation about being liberal in accepting patches is that enough bad patches come in that this would be a mistake. I don't feel great about it either. However the work isn't ignored. It's just in a very long queue. Towards the end of this year, things should ease considerably, and if I don't otherwise get help before then, I'll start working through the backlog then. (In the meantime, I pick away at the queue now and then.) And, again, my apologies to you personally, since I know you have a few queued patches.
