Is there another site that has them online (other than downstreams like Linux distros that host their own man pages)? Or is there some way I can help with getting them updated?

Yes, that one is nice (it has some formatting issues in the examples
(whitespace; check here:
<https://man.archlinux.org/man/core/man-pages/_Generic.3.en>), but it's rather
nice apart from that.

man7.org is Michael's property. The best thing to do is get him to maintain it.
  Other than that, I don't think the effort is worth it to open a clone of it;
distros like Debian or Arch already have it. Maybe for gentoo it's worth it,
though.

Cheers,

Alex
