Subject: Re: [linux-dvb] 682Mhz problem with TT-1501 driver in v4l-dvb
Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2008 22:40:42 +1200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <00a901c8ebe7$64fffd50$450011ac@ad.sytec.com> (raw)

Not sure if it's related, but have noticed 618Mhz (which works / has
channels on my TT-1500-C and TT-2300-C) gives:
[root@freddy scan]# ./scan -A 2 test
scanning test
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
initial transponder 618000000 6900000 9 3
>>> tune to: 618000000:INVERSION_AUTO:6900000:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
>>> tune to: 618000000:INVERSION_AUTO:6900000:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64 (tuning
>>> failed)
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
ERROR: initial tuning failed
dumping lists (0 services)
Done.

same for 650Mhz and 658Mhz.

But 690Mhz gives:
[root@freddy scan]# ./scan -A 2 test
scanning test
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
initial transponder 690000000 6900000 9 3
>>> tune to: 690000000:INVERSION_AUTO:6900000:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0011
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0000
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0010
dumping lists (0 services)
Done.

------------------> which is what I'd expect, as I have no channels at 690.

Is there something as simple as a maths problem somewhere???
