I bought a Pinnacle Nano USB stick and checked that this stick is OK
with the software from Pinnacle. Here in Norway DVB-T is coded with
Mpeg4, so it's a new experience.
With Ubuntu I tried something with "scan" and "Kaffeine" but both
programs were not able to detect some programs. It must be the old
firmware. Is someone able to help me to extract the firmware from my
snoopusb log?
Thanks

Ok, I took now usbreplay and it seems that at the beginning of the log
(after rebooting) some 40 byte packages were send to the USB-device. How
could I get out the firmware?
Thanks

Look at the usbvideo page,
in other words, record at least 200-300 meg
pres resume, pause to get the size
or by default in your windows repository the name of file inside usbsniff usbsnoop.log SIZE
Me, I unplug the signal during the log record, change video standard and resolution, dont know if this could help more but I could bet this could be usefull to detect exactly what you cahnge u will recognize as is inside the log !! ( some kind of message box for debugging info or log file... comments) u can find yourself

sorry I didn't specify the other way to get the firmware, depending if your device is using the em28xx driver
if you have the Windows drivers, u can extract from sys file
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Xceive_XC3028/XC2028#Firmware_Information
example for a type vendor using empia chipset :
kworld : emBDA.sys

If you're running the latest v4l-dvb, then you need the dib0700 1.20
firmware, and it's available here.

Your system is still trying to load version 1.10 of the firmware.
Have you installed the latest v4l-dvb code by following the directions
on http://linuxtv.org/repo ? If so, have you rebooted the computer
since then (so modules get unloaded).

Thanks, I've got a list with stations now. It was my fault not to
upgrade v4l and the docs for "scan" aren't very helpful. So I tried to
scan without a startup scan file with one single frequency. After I
realized that was the problem I've got a bunch of stations.
