[linux-dvb] no lock on 3/4 with cx24116

Hi,

I'am using a TBS 8920 on 2.6.27.2 kernel with s2-liplianin-8c4f85bfc115 dvb drivers.

I could not lock any dvb-s2 channel  with FEC 3/4 on Astra 28.2E.

I have an TT 3200 which lock fine on 3/4 using the same dvb driver.

What information could I provide you to debug?

I don't know what a s2-liplianin-8c4f85bfc115 driver is but
if you apply this patch:
http://hg.kewl.org/v4l-dvb/raw-rev/8d6d8974b33d

then it may solve your problem?

It's the latest one from http://mercurial.intuxication.org/hg/s2-liplianin

There are some difference between your output and mine:
yours:
rolloff 0.35
sid 0x0edb

mine;
rolloff auto
sid 0x0000


Could you post your channels.conf?

you can roll your own if you have a universal LNB ?

hg clone http://hg.kewl.org/xmldvb/

refer to the README file for setup and use. this util is only 3
days old so is mostly untested.

BTW, If you don't have universal LNB then please forward a patch :-)
I can e-mail my conf seperately in any case but it's not VDR ? is
that ok ?

It's locking now changing the rolloff value from 0 to 35

with xmldvb from Darron I could find dvb-s and dvb-s2 channels with my hvr4000
I use the driver from him too
