You're not supposed to run that command.

I would advise at this point that you delete the v4l-dvb directory and pull in
a fresh copy.

Then, only run these commands:

make menuconfig      #(then immediately exit and let it save)
make -j4

The menuconfig target creates a .config file.  The second make step compiles
the code against it.

Be sure to run these as root or it will not work right.

I can't attach mine because it is outdated (my copy of the repository is
pretty old).
