The legal stuff gets messy quickly and I don't claim to understand all of it. I'm an opensource developer, I chose to work on Linux because it's the biggest movement. If you're working on linux then people here will help, if our working on something else and asking for help here - then people will probably be trying to fix linux first, so responses to questions may not arrive, or be slow coming.
