hi all, I just purchased an ASUS My Cinema PE9400 PCI tuner card. My
specific card has SAA7163FE stamped on the chip, but it shows up in linux as
SAA7164, but I don't know what the difference is, if there is any.
I did some searching and found this mailing list and some messages from
steve toth about work he was doing on this chipset. Steve, if you're
reading this, do you have any updates for us? I would be willing to help
test for you if you need it.
Thanks,
Adam Plumb

No updates from me, it's a project I'm still trying to get more time on.

Who do I need to bribe to get you enough time to do this? We bought a
couple of those Hauppauge cards and still can't use them. I've had
numerous requests for more of these machines, but I'm not going to sell
something that won't work. If they're the ones not giving you enough
time, I'd be happy to call and complain.
