I know there was some mention a while back on this list of HVR 2250 Driver
work being started by Steve Toth.

Is there any update on this?

I was wondering how the development on the HVR2250 was coming along. A
mythtv wiki page shows:
Excerpt from an email from Hauppauge support on 11-19-2008: "Support for the
WinTV-HVR-2250 is expected by the end of the year."

Are they accurate on this email? Looking around on google shows that Steve
Toth has the basis for this completed.

Thanks for any info you may have! I'm anxious to test and help debug.

No progress, the development is on ice for the time being.

Steve, can you elaborate at all? Is this an "abandon all hope" sort of
on-ice or a "you'll all have to wait a bit longer" on-ice? :)

Thanks,
-Eric
