All:
I have two VF0560 Live! Cam Optia AF webcams and vlc with latest v4l2
yield both video and audio on three out of five machines running CentOS
5.2 with the 2.6.27.8 kernel. However, two of the machines do not yield
any audio, only video. When I do an arecord all that is captured is
0x00 over and over to the wav file. The alsa USB audio driver is up and
loaded and receiving data from the webcam. However, this data seems to
be 0x00. What could be the problem? Am I getting lucky on the other
three machines? Is there some GPIO that is floating or something?
