However if you compile libv4l under the v4l-dvb hg tree, it will use the headers from the tree and you can compile it under RHEL-5. Or you could simply include the necessary header file (I think it only needs a newer linux/videodev2.h) in the source rpm, and add a dir containing it to the header search path.
