[linux-dvb] Can't tune to DVB-S2 channels on floppydtv

Hi,

I have a floppyDTV S2 and I can't tune to dvb-s2 channels while normal
dvb-s channel work.

Does anyone have a clue where the problem is.

Are you sure the driver supports S2 at all ?

I know a few people who have tried dvb-s2 v4l and all of them have had
problems.  From what I've been told, S2 is a total mess and has a ton
of things that need to be fixed.  I'm sure someone will crawl out of
the woodwork and state how awesome it is however so take everything
with a grain of salt and let your own experience tell you the truth.

hm, "from what I've been told".

I thought we might get a lot of feedback during the athletics in Berlin
currently, if it is such worse.

Nothing like that. Strange?

Since BBC-HD is still good enough, I'm still not on S2, but I likely
soon will give it a try.

I'll happily receive any kicks on anything faulty then, but I doubt I
have to take them.

Not 100% but I thought so because i found the hardware under supported
dvb-s2 devices. I wonder what is missing, because the card is doing all
difficult stuff itself. Just send the frequency / transponder you want
to receive you get the data if there is any reception at all.

After i had a look into the driver i saw that in the caps section 8psk
is missing and there is possibly a second tune command.

Has anyone a command list for this device?
