Hello,
i wanted to ask whether theres some progress or status on the cx23885
driver. DVB-T is working fine,
however - i'm currently interested into the A/V Inputs. Maybe there's
some alpha/beta thing to test?

Talking about this card and would like to use the A/V Inputs.
Cheers
Jean

Hi Jean,
No, there hasn't really been any progress in this area. I've started
doing some work on the 23885 tree for the HVR-1800, all of which is
work applicable for the 1200/1250. But frankly those cards are a
relatively low priority on my todo list and I'm only working on it in
the background.
Cheers,
Devin

Hi Jean,
At this point, what really needs to happen is a developer who is
familiar with the internals of the cx23885 (and has the datasheets)
needs to sit down and spend a few days debugging the driver. I've
been too swamped with commercial projects to spend any real time on it
(although that's the sort of problem that would get solved faster if
some commercial party threw some money at the problem). Since I'm
only really working on it in my free time, it's the sort of situation
where it'll start working "when I finally get around to it".
For what it's worth, most of the work I'm doing for the HVR-1800 is
common to the 1200/1250 as well in terms of the bugs I'm fixing would
be common to both.
Devin

Hello,
ago some time ( Wed, 24 Feb 2010 16:34:05 +0100 ) i asked whether
there's some status for the A/V Inputs on this card, "Devin" said there
was no progress, so .. any new status? something beta i could test?
Cheers
