I have asked that earlier, but Haven't got answer. Could you say how it 
fails? mxl5007t is a little bit dummy and didn't print any hint why it 
fails - just set error -EREMOTEIO in any case.

Enable dvb_usb_v2 and dvb_usb_af9035 debugs to see what it returns. I 
want to see those raw debug lines from dvb_usb_v2 + af9035 debugs.

Also, could you add hw sniffer to I2C bus and look what goes there?
