In the very latest master branch support was added for a device_caps field in
struct video_device. It is recommended to fill in the device caps there when the
video_device struct is initialized. You can then drop initializing the device_caps
and capabilities here since the core will initialize them for you.
The advantage of this is that the core now knows the capabilities of the device.
