Subject: [PATCH 2/2] x86: remove high_memory check from valid_phys_addr_range
Date: Wed, 20 Aug 2014 17:25:26 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1408548326-18665-3-git-send-email-fhrbata@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1408548326-18665-1-git-send-email-fhrbata@redhat.com>
There is no need to block read/write access to /dev/mem for phys. addr. above
high_memory for non-system RAM. The only limitation should be
boot_cpu_data.x86_phys_bits(max phys. addr. size).
