Hi Linus,

here's the NULL pointer deref hotfix in the form of a PR

  git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/vbabka/slab.git tags/slab-for-6.18-rc1-hotfix

Obviously it wasn't in -next yet and was just sent out formally for review,
and it's weekend so that's an unfortunate timing. Releasing rc1 might
however mean more exposure to such memoryless node systems so I didn't want
to delay. You can decide to pull or wait.
