Subject: [PATCH 14/22] HWPOISON: Add simple debugfs interface to inject hwpoison on arbitary PFNs
Date: Mon, 15 Jun 2009 10:45:34 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20090615031254.293225180@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20090615024520.786814520@intel.com
[-- Attachment #1: pfn-inject --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 2569 bytes --]
From: Andi Kleen <ak@linux.intel.com>
Useful for some testing scenarios, although specific testing is often
done better through MADV_POISON
This can be done with the x86 level MCE injector too, but this interface
allows it to do independently from low level x86 changes.
Open issues:
Should be disabled for cgroups.
