The official linux-mm archive at http://marc.info/?l=linux-mm
appears to have stopped archiving over a month ago. Other marc.info
linux archives (including linux-mm-commits) seem to be still
up-to-date. Is this intentional and/or permanent? Gmane
is still archiving, but the gmane interface isn't as suitable
for skimming subjects.

Grepping through the mail logs, it looks like the subscriber address they
were using got dropped due to excessive bounces on October 19th. It wasn't
a marc.info address, so I'd recommend poking the people who run marc.info
to resubscribe with an address that works.

Hi webguy@marc.info --
IIUC, per the above, something apparently happened at marc.info
that caused your feed from linux-mm@kvack.org to be dropped
due to excessive bounces. Could you please resubscribe as
http://marc.info/?l=linux-mm is widely documented as the
home of the linux-mm mailing list archives and you are now
missing almost six weeks of archives for the list.
I am just a user of marc.info... if you need to communicate
with the owner of linux-mm, I think that is Ben (cc'ed).
Thanks,
Dan

Ah, thanks for pointing this out folks!
This looks like leftover damage from an outage we had in October:

Done! And some new list traffic has started coming in.
If anyone has mailspool-style backups of the last ~month and a half,
I'd be glad to bulk-insert them. (I'm unsure if pulling down in bulk
from gmane is considered impolite.)
Thanks,

I've put up the Oct & Nov traffic in an mbox format for you at
http://www.kvack.org/~bcrl/linux-mm.mbox . Thanks for fixing this.

Thank you! Pulled down and inserted (it will take a little bit for
the replicas & the full-text indexing to catch up).
If any linux-mm readers have noticed other MARC lists that dried up in
late October, please contact me privately and I'll fix them, too.
Thanks,
Hank Leininger <hlein@marc.info>
