I've given the user permission to access the serial port (/dev/ttyS0), and stuck the user in the "lock" group, and given him write access to the lock directory. When I start up dosemu, the log says that the executable must be run by root or be setuid in order to create lock files. I cannot run it setuid, due to the dosemu script which disallows this. dosemu 1.2.0.1 any help would be appreciated. mh --=20 Martin Hicks || mort@bork.org || PGP/GnuPG: 0x4C7F2BEE plato up 15 days, 1:51, 9 users, load average: 0.16, 0.22, 0.22 Beer: So much more than just a breakfast drink. --=-z06Eps5+Ed1JpaRuT3VN Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA9brqt0ZUZrUx/K+4RAkkjAJ970EmbUv+Nb+Iy8for1JkvNrEv1gCeOzth W6oiUPlEHWgYCLvbbopfDZQ= =Clzm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-z06Eps5+Ed1JpaRuT3VN--
