Relevant dosemu.conf entries are: $_printer = "lp" # list of (/etc/printcap) printer names to appear as # LPT1, LPT2, LPT3 (not all are needed, empty for none) $_printer_timeout = (20) # idle time in seconds before spooling out $_ports = "" # list of portnumbers such as "0x1ce 0x1cf 0x238" # or "0x1ce range 0x280,0x29f 310" # or "range 0x1a0,(0x1a0+15)" /etc/printcap contents are: ------- # This file was automatically generated by cupsd(8) from the # /etc/cups/printers.conf file. Brother_HL_820: ------- I tried changing dosemu.conf to read: $_printer = "Brother_HL_820:" but no luck Distribution is Mandrake V9.0 dosemu version is 1.0.2.1 FreeDos version is 1.1.24c also tried with MS-DOS 4.00.950 (Windows 95 DOS) What am I doing wrong?
